I came to this country back in 2000, I don't know if they were open then. But I think in 2005 when I started eating from here. In 2024 there are hundreds of Halal place now in New York City . But back in 2005 this was the only place which was serving 100% halal food. I used to come from Staten Island , then from queens just to get some Chinese food ! And still after all this years when I am in Atlantic avenue I still get off from the train just to get some beef lo main for my son. Because that's the only place he likes lo main from. They are always extremely busy, sometimes they do mess up the order. But I am a loyal customer & because of their actions trying to feed us 100% halal food when no one wanted to, I will forgive small mistakes. Anyone who lived in New York City back then knows how much we all Muslims appreciated them! I will definitely try to take some pictures when I go next time.

My family and I have been going to No Pork Halal since 2000. No one can compare to the price and quality of no pork halal. Always hits! There menu has pretty much stayed consistent although I used to really love their spicy wonton and hot oil and wish they would bring that back Buttt they have also added some new items which are pretty cool too! My go to is the lo mein, chicken wings or Szechuan chicken !

Small restaurant and always clean. Staff is very friendly. It's only take out not dine in. Food is always fresh no matter what time you go there. Best thing is it's 100% halal. I love this place.

Always a hit especially on rainy days. This place is so affordable and the employees are always accommodating. They gave us a free ice tea because we made such a large order--literally made my day! There's nor that much seating, they just have 3 stools next to the door. But it's a great take out spot and the food stays fresh and delicious. They have a huge selection of sauces that you can take. The food was delicious and I literally had nothing left over on my plate. I was super full from the order even though it was a small. The beef broccoli with fried rice is a hit for me always but especially at No Pork. I love the way the beef is tender and the broccoli had a nice crunch. I liked the fried rice but I forgot to mention I didn't want beansprouts so that was on me. Everyone else loved their order and there was still a lot of food left at the end.

A solid spot. I ordered the all day special general Tso's with fried rice, chicken egg roll, and a ginger ale that came out to around $12. Fast, reasonably priced, and good.

When I was researching halal options in Brooklyn and ran across the creatively named No Pork Halal Kitchen (imagine the naming discussion/debate), I figured this was one spot I had to try. I like Chinese food, and in this case I wouldn't have to worry about cross-contamination with pork. This place truly is a hole in the wall. No frills, and no dining in. It's a takeout place. I ordered a small General Tso's Chicken w/ fried rice, which came out to $9.75 total. Unfortunately they only accept cash, but thankfully I had $10. The chicken was good. It was nicely breaded and spicy. There were only two pieces of broccoli, but plenty of rice. I would have liked less rice and more broccoli. All in all, an enjoyable dish and a good value.
